Our Mission
Working with the DRG puts and continues to put into play, all of the passions we as a business try to explore with our customers. Wildly passionate owners, large design teams, mixed environments, designs and often last minute lead times mean we have to be at the top of our game.
To date we have designed and supplied uniforms for 12 different locations and 7 different, unique restaurant and bar brands, encompassing a wide variety of looks and feels. From the sumptuous Anchor Line set in a grade A1 listed building in Glasgow and celebrating the grand ocean voyages of the 1920s and 30s from Glasgow to New York, to the re-nouned family restaurant Di Maggio’s the portfolio required a bespoke solution for each. Such is the passion from the owner it took us nearly 2 years of concepts to decide on the final product for Di Maggio’s – good things come to those who wait.
How we did it
First we had to take the time to understand the customer, and become familiar with the spaces that they were creating. By visiting each new premises during the build and design stage, we could really get a feel for the look the client was trying to cultivate. Working closely with the in-house design team and reviewing fabrics, storyboards and moodboards also let us create our own to ensure it all tied together nicely.
This process did yield a first for our manufacturing division, bespoke elastic to make into braces for the bartenders at the Citizen Bar, that was a tricky one.
Once the product had been selected, we used in our design to team to complete mock-ups of the clothing and used them for sign-off, then our in-house embroidery and print teams took care of the rest and we are proud to have supplied this chain across Scotland and support them to this day.
